The city of Haridwar located in the foothills of Shivalik, represents the point where the Ganges reaches the plains. He is famous for being blessed by the trinity of Lord Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. The name Haridwar (Hardwar) has been derived from two words, 'Har' means Shiva, 'Hari' means Vishnu, and Dwar means door. Haridwar is thus the gateway to the two sacred sanctuaries of Shiva and Vishnu in Badrinath and Kedarnath, respectively. Places to see in Haridwar are Har-ki-Pauri ghat is one of the most sacred ghats of India, since Maha arti is performed in this ghat every night. Haridwar is famous for its Ganga (Ganga Aarti) ceremony which is celebrated at 7pm every night. Other places to see include Mayapuri and Kankhal, which are near Haridwar. Mansa Devi is a temple located on the top of a hill called Bilwa Parvat. One can reach the temple, by the rope or one can take the normal trekking route to the top.
Rishikesh is virtually a city of saints, sages and scholars. Rishikesh is a rare religious center located on the right bank of the Ganges River. There is a series of ashrams where religious discourses are performed. The place is also a renowned center for yoga teachings. Rishikesh is also an attraction for foreign pilgrims who want to know about Hinduism and who want to spend some time close to the Lord. At 43 kms from Dehradun and 24 kms from Haridwar, Rishikesh is located in the middle of a quiet environment, facing the impressive water, dense forests and hills. In addition to being known as the land of the gods, Rishikesh is also the mecca of the seeker of peace through yoga and meditation

    Delhi to Haridwar (210 Kms / 6 Hrs)

    Tomorrow at 8 a.m. you meet our driver at your home / hotel / airport / train station and we will transfer you to Haridwar. Arrival at the hotel in Arrival in Haridwar. Afternoon visit to Daksh Temple, Pawan Dham and Moti Bazar. Visit Har Ki Pauri for Ganga Aarti. Back to the hotel. Dinner and night stay in Haridwar.

    Haridwar Rishikesh Sightseeing

    In the morning you can take a sacred dip in the Ganga river. Later return to the hotel. After breakfast, visit the Temple of Mansa Devi (by cable car). Transfer to Rishikesh. Visit Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, Lakshman Temple, Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula. In the afternoon visit to Ganga Aarti in Parmarth Niketan. Go back to Haridwar. Dinner and night in Haridwar.

    Haridwar to Delhi (210 Km / 6 Hrs)

    Morning after breakfast, departure from the hotel. Visit the Chandi Devi Temple (by cable car). Transfer to Delhi. Drop off at Delhi's house / hotel / airport / train station.
